[ns] help for writing scripts to retrieve metrics from trace file

Hi all 

in a mobile environment with mobile IP i need to write a script to retrieve 
those metrics from the trace file:

1- the packet delay 
2- the number of packets dropped and lost
3- the signaling load 
4- obtained bandwith per station
5- the handoff latency

any help to write those differents scripts 
or scripts examples will be helpfull
