You need to add the tracefile:

set tracefd [open testbss.tr w]
$ns trace-all $tracefd

Then it will complain about GOD:
# Create God                 
#-------------------------------------------                                    
create-god 2 

And finally, you will need a topography:
set topo [new Topography]            
$topo load_flatgrid 800 800  

and change the relevant line to:
 -topoInstance $topo\
