I used, this is my output:

[root@Tele47 home]# tar -xvzf ns-allinone-2.1b7a-GPRS.tar.gz
./ns-allinone-2.1b7a-GPRS/
./ns-allinone-2.1b7a-GPRS/INSTALL.WIN32
