[ns] Performance of routing protocols

Hi all,

As I'm a relatively new user I'm not sure how to calculate the performance of a
routing protocol. e.g. AODV or DSR.
Let's take the packet loss:
Is it (Mac+RTR+AGT+IFQ)_dropped_data_pkts/AGT_sent_data_pkts or am I
double-counting this way?
I've also tried (AGT_sent_data_pkts-AGT_received_data_pkts)/AGT_sent_data_pkts
but the results are completely different ( much better... )
