[ns] 802_11 Bandwidth issue

Hello all,
   I think it would really be useful for someone to
address the question of how to change the bandwidth of
wireless simulation in ns-2. This question has
appeared numerous times (I also asked the same
question a few days ago). The answers offered do not
seem to work for some. Is that a version issue? Is it
that the offered suggestions like that of Mr. Saikat
(below) apply to only certain versions of ns? I
request someone (perhaps the ns-2 developers) to
address this problem.
