[ns] Extending the ANTENNA class : A clarification of members variables

Hi,

Thank you for the reply to my previous Query.

I am working on Directional antennas and have managed to code a simplistic 
form of directional antennas in NS2.

I have to following queries with respect to Antennas in NS2

   1)The cmu extn. to NS2 have the following in the Antenna Class --
        -LIST_ENTRY(Antenna) link;  ( LIST_HEAD() for the Antenna type has 
been declared before)

     Has this been created specifically for any use or has it been done 
keeping in mind directional  antennas ??

  2) Related to the above , CMU also defines in the PacketStamp class a 
variable called Antenna *ant -- maybe to keep track of the antenna which 
transmits/receives the signal....
  How will an implementation of directional antennas be associated with this 
variable??

Why define an antenna-list in class Antenna and also a pointer in the 
PacketStamp class??
