[ns] Packet modification at a router or a queue in ns2

Dear ISI,

I am a new user to ns2. I have a task of modifying a field in IP Packet at a 
router/Queue in ns2.  I wanted some guidance in this regard. Please suggest me 
as to how I can start the process..
