hi hussain,
thanx for the help....also i could change to my own ip addresses (dst ip addr and port) only after i changed the defaults in tcptap.h
also...i have 2 more doubts
1-The tcp-server application u have mentioned...when complied gives 2 error
saying in tcpserver.c variables SO_REUSEPORT in opensocket function and also at the end SHUT_RDWR are undeclared.
i gave #define SHUT_RDWR 2 (close socket)
and just deleted the SO_REUSEPORT variable and it complied correctly..plz tell me if i am write
2-when i run tcpemu.tcl....i get BAD ACK FOR SYN and i realize that a 3 way handshake itself is incomplete. the ack and sequense numbers r all a mess. plz help.
thanks,
manjunath

Take a look at ns/emulate/tcpemu.tcl.

The internal nodes in ns are not physically assigned IP addresses, but the
emulation entry node has the routing information so that it can forward
the correct packets to the TCP agents.
