[ns] velocity of a mobile node (was Position of a mobile node)

Hi. Similar to getting position of a mobile node,s
there a way to get velocity of a mobile node somehow?
I was thinking if not, i will have to read that
information out from the scenario file each time i
need the info.that may be quite slow.if anyone has any
better suggestins please let me know.
