[ns] ns bug: bad nam motion trace

Hi,

I have discovered an abnormal (I think) behavior on nam trace create by ns.
(I am using SuSe Linux 7.2, kernel 2.2.18-SMP on a dualP3 system, and
ns-allinone-2.1b9 , but the same holds for 2.1b8a at least).

When moving a node (1) from initial location (1,0) to (1,670), at the 20th
second of simulation time, at 50 m/s speed, the corresponding line of the
trace is:

n -t 20.000000 -s 1 -x 1.000000 -y 0.000000 -u 0.000000 -v 50.000000 -T
0.000000

If I change the destination location to (2,670) then I get:

n -t 20.000000 -s 1 -x 1.000000 -y 0.000000 -u 0.074627 -v 49.999944 -T
13.400015

The problem is that I cannot move zero units on one axis if I want my
movement to be shown on nam (otherwise I get not motion shown because the
end time -T is zero in the problem case).

Summarizing: If a node moves only along one axis, then the corresponding
nam-trace shows no motion at all. As soon you include a slight movement in
both axis everything works ok. Anyway, the simulation work is ok.
