[ns] problem rebuilding [ns]

Hi,
        I have been trying to rebuild ns.But I got a very strange error
which says :-

/home/courses/cgs3460/NetSim/ns-allinone-2.1b8a/lib/libtcl8.3.a(tclUnixPipe.o):
In function `TclpCreateTempFile':
tclUnixPipe.o(.text+0xe0): the use of `tmpnam' is dangerous, better use
`mkstemp'
tclAppInit.o: In function `Tcl_AppInit':
tclAppInit.o(.text+0x122): undefined reference to `et_ns_lib'
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make: *** [ns] Error 1

The LD_LIBRARY_PATH is also set properly.
If anyone knows about this problem can you please help me with it.
