[ns] Energy model question

Hello ns users:
     In wireless simulation,when the EnergyModel
is included in the node configuration,how will 
the energy be consumed by every node?
     I set the rxpower to 0.0,but I still found 
node spent energy when recving packets.Are there 
some other kind of energy comsumption during the 
simulation? By the way,I only set rxpower and 
txpower,and let others be the default values.
    Can anyone explain it for me?
