[ns] tutorial problem

Hi,
  I 'm a new user of ns-2, I installed ns-2.1b8a and I'm following the
ns Tutorial from http://www.isi.edu/nsnam/ns/tutorial/index.html
everything was fine until chapter IX. Running Wireless Simulations in
ns:
I write the code you described and run it with
>ns  simple-wireless.tcl
it displayed the following:
num_nodes is set 2
warning: Please use -channel as shown in tcl/ex/wireless-mitf.tcl
Starting Simulation...
NS EXITING...

the simple.tr file is generated, but nothing is displyed,
I downloaded the file simple-wireless.tcl you made from the website and
it happens the same thing.
How can have a visualization of the trace?
