[ns] Can RED set ECN bit on ACK packets?

<P>As far as I know, RED gateway can set the ECN bit on DATA packet (e.g tcpecn.tcl implement this). But if I&nbsp;have a topology which is asymetric network, where the downstream is 10 Mb and delay 2ms with RED and the upstream is 28.8 Kb delay 10ms with RED, can RED gateway on downstream router mark the ECN&nbsp;(or ECN echo) bit on ACK packets which&nbsp;make the gateway buffer congested? or RED gateway only can mark DATA packet?</P>
