Hi Everyone,
I am a new to NS2 and am using it to simulate a mobile
wireless ad hoc network running on DSR.
I want to trace certain TCP variables such as
Congestion Window (cwnd_), Round trip time (rtt_),
etc.
I came across some information in the NS manual that
said I could do this using the following script:
(3.4.3 Variable Tracing)
$tcp trace cwnd_
set tracer [new Trace/Var]
$tcp trace ssthresh_ \$tracer
However, I do not get any trace output for this. The
simulation does not generate any errors either.
I think that I am probably using this script wrong.
Would someone be able to help me with this? I would
appreciate a sample script or some pointers on how to
use this script correctly.
Further, could the trace be directed to an output file
and if so then how?
I am also trying to trace the route that is part of
the DSR packet header. Is there some way that the
route contained in a DSR packet header can be dumped
to a file?
Thank you,
Ankit Agarwal.
