[ns] how to open .tex file

Dear

I am a new beginner, and try to look at some example contained in
/ns-2.1b7/doc. These files' extension file name are .tex. Some text editors
were used to open them. Although I could see the content, the format was not
shown properly. I wonder if you can tell me how to open an .tex file
properly. Thanks!
