[ns] NS crash recovery.

Hi,

I was wondering whether anyone had implemented a crash recovery system for ns 
? Some of the simulations I run take several hours and I was wanting to avoid 
the situation where I was re-running significant portions of the simulation 
again. The sort of thing I was looking for was to save the state of the 
simulator at intervals and be able to restart the simulation from any of these 
intervals.
