[ns] Simulated host using emulation?

Does anyone have any advice about how to setup a virtual
host within Ns that can receive traffic addressed to it
from a real lan?  The simulation would be using emulation
mode, of course.  The trouble I see with doing this is the 
address resolution.  The simulation would have to route 
traffic using real IP numbers instead of the native node
addresses.  Is this capability currently supported?
