send message with ttl

Hi,

Does NS currently (ns2.1b1) support sending a (multicast) message
with a specific ttl value.  I looked at various examples of using
Agent/Message to send messages but do not see one with ttl.
On the other hand, people simulating reliable multicast with local
repair must have done this before.  Could someone point me to, or
show me an example?  Thanks in advance.
