Each node in the network is randomly assigned a weight and higher weighted nodes are assigned cluster heads. I was wondering of ways by which each node advertises its weight to its neighbors. Can someone please tell me (1) how the nodes will store its weights in its packets to be sent to neighbors and (2) how and where a node on receiving a packet store its neighbors weight. Thank you. There are some sample new animations of wireless scenarios in the educational scenario database. (Search for "802.11".) -John Heidemann
