[Ns-developers] ns-2 build system proposal

YunQiang Su, who has been unofficially maintaining Debian ns-2 packages, 
has graciously volunteered to maintain the build systems of otcl, tclcl, 
ns-2, and nam-1, and would like to move these all to CMake.

He has some patches already to enable CMake so I was going to suggest 
that we add them to the CVS repositories, start to use them in the 
buildbots, and if it works out well, we could eventually remove the 
autotools files.

Any comments/concerns with moving in this direction?
