Hi all,
I am just transitioning from NS2 to NS3, and i would like your suggestions on how to deploy my new modules
in multiple machines.
So far in NS2, i was deploying a module on my office PC and then committed the module to a CVS repo. I would
then login to all my lab machines (to which NS2 was installed already), download the new module from the CVS
to each machine, compiled NS2 and run my simulations. If i wanted to make a change to the code, i did it to my
office PC and then did the whole CVS update/compile cycle on each lab machine.
Now given the introduction of Mercurial in NS3, what would you recommend to be the best scenario so i could
quickly deploy my new modules on my lab machines and run my simulations? Is there a way to privately host my new
modules to the NSNAM repos?
Thanks in advance,
Nicholas
