Dear Nishanth,
your proposal seems interesting but I've never heard about RapidNet before, so I cannot give you any formal advice about it.
My opinion is that I don't trust in "rapid development", but at the end it is your responsibility to build a proposal. Moreover, I am forwarding the reply on the ns-developers list. Maybe other mentros could give you some advices.
However, please share with us your idea as soon as possible, since the application deadline is in less than two weeks.
