Hi everyone,
It is from GSOC that I heard the opportunity to participating in NS-3
development. I'm a Ph.D student at NUS, doing research on P2P related topic.
I've been using NS-2, Omnet++ and PeerSim for my work, so I understand how
important simulators are to networking research. Additionally, I'm
proficient with C++ and have some experience in Python.
The idea of Mobile P2P interests me a lot so that I want to apply for it.
But before application, if I want to discuss the detailed technical issues
to develop the idea, should I still use the ns-developers list or contact
the mentor directly? I find the IRC is not very responsive. Do the
developers here prefer the mailing system? BTW, I posted another mail
several days ago, but it seems to be never approved.
