Hi all,
It is from GSOC that I heard the opportunity to participating in NS-3
development. I'm a Ph.D student, doing research on P2P related topic. I've
been using NS-2, Omnet++ and PeerSim for my work, so I understand how
important simulators are to networking research.
The idea of Mobile P2P interests me a lot so that I want to apply for it.
But before application, if I want to discuss the detailed technical issues,
should I still use the ns-developers list or contact the mentor directly?
There are ample ideas listed on the website. However, I find that only 2 or
3 students participated in the previous years' project. Is this because the
mentors are picky to select a student participant or Google only allows
limited quota?
Please help me to address my puzzle. Thanks a lot!
