Hi,

I am a new developer on this mailing list. I wanted to contribute to the
ns-3 development. I realize I have missed the GSoC deadline but was
wondering if there was a possibility of contributing anyway.

I have experience working on TCP in wireless networks and have also
published a paper on the improvement of TCP performance in wireless
networks. This was presented at COMSNETS 2010. The following is a link to

I am currently researching the various schemes to improve TCP performance in
ad-hoc networks. In relation with my work on TCP performance improvement in
wireless networks, I am also researching the link-layer mechanisms that
allow a node to predict the duration of disconnection of the mobile.

I am available to start working on this immediately. Please do let me know
of any available projects that I could contribute to. I am a fast learner
and can work on any new areas other than the ones listed above as well.
