[Ns-developers] Ns-3.7 Release Schedule (yes,that is ns-3.7)

Hi All,

In an attempt to remind everyone of how fast these ns-3 releases are
actually coming, and to try and get ahead of the game a little, I have
created an ns-3.7 release page for your viewing pleasure:

The schedule is tentative at this time, but here it is:

1.October 14 -- ns-3.6 posted; 
2.October 14 -- ns-3.7 Open phase begins; 
3.November 18 -- Recommended cutoff for new feature submission; 
4.November 25 -- Deadline for new feature submissions that require design
review; 
5.December 2 -- Approved new feature ready-for-merge deadline; 
6.December 9 -- Late merge period begins (Merge Week Begins); 
7.December 16 -- Late merge period ends; 
8.December 16 -- Open phase ends; 
9.December 16 -- Maintenance phase begins;> 
10.January 6 -- Maintenance phase ends; 
11.January 6 -- Code freeze phase begins; 
12.January 6 -- ns-3.7-RC1; 
13.January 8 -- ns-3.7-RC2; 
14.January 12 -- ns-3.7-RC3; 
15.January 15 -- ns-3.7-RC4; 
16.January 20 -- ns-3.7 posted; 
17.January 20 -- Code freeze phase ends; 
18.January 20 -- ns-3.8 Open phase begins. 

Notice that the open phase for ns-3.7 starts in a little less than a month
and the recommended date for having a new feature ready to go in is a mere
two months from today.  Also remember that we have many holidays coming up
that will eat into this schedule.  I have pushed the schedule out slightly
to accommodate this.

If you would like to get your submission listed for ns-3.7, just email me
and I will begin actively maintaining the release page.
