[Ns-developers] NSC and multiple network interfaces within NS-3

Hello,
I am currently trying to get an experimental mptcp stack running in NS-3. For ease of use I decided to go the nsc path (that is combine the stack with nsc and use the ns3-nsc interfacing then; ns-3 says that this is the way of using real-world stacks).
However I stumbled across the following comment (taken from nsc-tcp-l4-protocol.cc:376)
// we really don't need the loop, but its here to illustrate
// how things _should_ be (once nsc can deal with multiple interfaces...)
What is the reason for this? Is it a restriction of nsc or the ns3-nsc glue code? How easy would it be to solve it? Having a mptcp stack without multiple interfaces otherwise would be a little bit boring.
Thanks for some advice or comments here!
Best regards!
Joerg
