Hi Kaushik,

I mean scripts in the sense of ns-3 simulations, which you can setup &
run from either C++ or python.  An important foundation for
understanding the whole system and thinking about a project is simply
being comfortable with creating new simulations---varying network
topologies & devices, applications, etc.  A simple point perhaps, but
an important one.
