Hi Kaushik,
Those all look like good places to start with ns-3. Getting a good
handle on writing scripts and developing applications or other
components will help a lot when it comes time to come up with
technical ideas and a plan to include in your GSOC application.
On that note though, I want to note for everyone that GOSC
organizations will not be announced for a few weeks yet, and we won't
know until then whether or not we will have funding for any students.
Of course, either way, we are always happy to have more and more
people continue to use and develop ns-3.
