Cygwin is a supported platform but there is no way to test it since there is
no VM.  There are examples that are not part of the main regression test
suite since manual configuration or intervention is required (emu, tap).
There are contrib pieces that need to be run and output interpreted (Joe's
statistics stuff).  There is the wifi-ad-hoc experiment stuff that needs to
be run to make sure it didn't get broken.  I'm sure there are more, but this
is just off the top of my head. Tom is really good at finding stuff like
this :-)

We should have fully automated tests, but we just aren't there yet.
