Hi Josh,
To ease the review, can you please clarify (or re-summarize) on the list 
all of these things:

- new API
- changed API
- unfinished work: (such as extending it beyond point-to-point, 
serialization issues, etc.)
- issues or concerns for which you'd like feedback
- test code and how to run it
- example program(s)
- any statistics on how much it improves large test cases?
