Hi Gustavo, I also looked at this yesterday and would like to propose to 
get it merged this release cycle.  I wonder whether there is common 
functionality to what Qasim is working on for a conntracking module; 
maybe he can review and comment.

It seemed to me that we could move the core components of this to 
src/common, and the ipv4-specific to internet-stack.

Likewise, (comment for Mathieu) what about moving 
delay-jitter-estimation to src/common?  It seems that users on 
ns-3-users list are using this component these days.
