[Ns-developers] GSOC: Progress in Uplink Scheduler for WiMAX

Hi all,

I'm sending my update on Uplink Scheduler for WiMAX.

The algorithm of scheduler from [1] is already ported. I intend to spend
next week testing and validating my implementation.
The code is based on Amine repository (
http://code.nsnam.org/iamine/ns-3-wimax-dev).
I'll make my implementation available soon.

My next steps are:
Implement validation scripts. This is an important step, so I will spend
more time than initially planned.
Work on Propagation Model. I notice Amine has implemented Cost 231 model. I
will implement SUI model.
Implement ertPS service flow, specified in IEEE 802.16-2005 standard. It
will be necessary to adapt uplink scheduler to support this flow. The uplink
scheduler should treat ertPS flows like UGS flow.
