As outlined in the wiki, yesterday was scheduled as the last day for
new ns-3 features to be proposed to the community for review:

http://www.nsnam.org/wiki/index.php/Ns-3.4

So far, we've had proposals for changes to the Random Variable API and
changes to the IPv4 API. We have a tree for the Tap NetDevice in the
works, which we might still review and push for merging, depending on
how quickly it matures, and how disruptive it would be to the other
merges in progress.

Also, numerous small proposals are in the bug tracker; several of
these need some feedback from the appropriate maintainers. Namely:

New drop tail queue (Bug 457): http://www.nsnam.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=457
New Wifi AP Address Manager (Bug 471):
http://www.nsnam.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=471

There has also been some talk of operation of ns-3 over RPC, and
ongoing discussion and proposals for animation. I didn't get the
impression that either of these discussions will result in a merge,
but if I am wrong, or if I have left anything out, please let me know.

I hope to start merging ready bits (Random Variables) in throughout
the rest of the week and into early next week (by the 3rd). Last
minute hold-ups and fixes will be allowed until the 10th (with some
special consideration given for Tap and Ipv4, since the maintain
period is so long).
