Okay, I've come around to the point of view that path is a good name for
strings that are contexts.  I sat around and explained to myself how it
worked, and I found I really wanted to call them paths.  I'm also coming
around to the overloaded methods instead of the explicit Longname Shortname
bit.

I want to actually make the changes and see how they feel before committing
to them, though.

So, Raj, I'm going to make some naming changes tomorrow morning.  I'm way to
tired to attempt it now, so we should delay the merge of ns-3-names for a
day.
