Verify that your private key is in .ssh folder in your home folder. You
can also use ssh -vvv server to have more debugging details about the
error and send it to Tom Henderson and administrators sothat they can
solve your connection problem.

Since maintainers (Tom in this case) told you that you can push the patch,
then this is considered part of the release, so if you are able to push
the patch do it, otherwise Tom will take care of that as he said.
