[Ns-developers] NS-3.7 new feature merging extension deadline ended

     Hi all,

 As of today, the new feature merge period (after extension) has expired
and we are in small feature development and bug fixing phase.
 During this phase you can:
  * Submit limited, small, self contained changes/features to ns-3-dev and
to merged new features. As specified before, no more new feature merges
are accepted
  * Submit code for review, this is very useful as this will make it
easier to merge your code early in the next release
  * Cleanup the ns-3-dev bug tracker, solve as much bugs as possible

 Please note that this is the time schedule for the NS-3.7 release:

 1. Oct 21st - Nov 18th : New feature merge
 2. Nov 18th - Dec 16th : Small feature development and bug fixing allowed
==> CURRENT PHASE
 3. Dec 16th - Jan 6th : Only bug fixes allowed
 4. Jan 6th - Jan 20th : Code freeze, RC releases

New features merged:
- 802.11p WiFi standards
- Waypoint mobility model
- Ad Hoc On Demand Distance Vector (AODV) Routing (RFC 3561)
- Net-anim
- IPv6 Extension and Option Headers
- Wimax applications
