Hi Lorenzo (and everyone),

I think the discussion between you and Adrian above is reasonably on
par with the level of detail expected of the proposals.  The key thing
is demonstrating that:

- You understand what the project is intending to do.

- You have a clear idea of the sub-goals of that project.

- You have a reasonable, albeit high level, idea of the components
necessary, their connections, and their relationship to the overall
ns-3 structure.

- You have a practical plan and schedule for implementing the required
components.

You seem on track to meet those goals in your proposal.  For example,
discussion about working with the NetDevice and Ipv4L3Protocol classes
and the interactions there as you have above, but without delving into
deeper details like specific function interfaces, is pretty much right
on target.


As far as interest, everything discussed here seems relevant, useful
to a wide range of users, and of interest to a mentor (Adrian).
Beyond that, I think working out general architecture/concepts to
support this topic and then iterating on more and more specific models
within that architecture is the way to go with this topic.
