Dear All,

News:
=====

None.

Comments:
=========

Lots of bugs have popped up in the past couple of days, but the good news is that more bugs were fixed than were filed. Things seem
to be settling down nicely. But still, please

test, test, test!

Bugs:
=====

As of Friday Afternoon, September 5, 2008, we have four P1 bugs filed against ns-3.2-RC1:

Bug 239 -- tcp has no finite size rcv buffer.

           Status: Raj has said he will fix this by Monday.

Bug 242 -- TCP does not send FIN on Socket->Close()

Bug 277 -- star topologies are painful to create

           Status: Craig will deal with this starting tomorrow.

Bug 297 -- Python Binding Compilation error with Cygwin

           Status: I believe Gustavo is going to address this with input from Tom.

=======================

We have closed the following bugs relating to ns-3.2-RC1:

		  Resolution:  Fixed

Next Steps:
===========

I will post an ns-3-RC2 on Monday, September 8.

Barring any disasters, I will post ns-3-RC3 on Friday, September 12. This should be completely feature-complete and P1-bug-free if
at all possible.

The release of ns-3.2 will be on Monday, September 15. Hopefully this will be, in essence, a renaming of ns-3-RC3.

Regards,

-- Craig
