[Ns-developers] Mannasim Patch for 2.33

Greetings,

I noticed that the Mannasim patch is only available in 2.29.  After
reading the code, that's apparently because it clobbers much of ns-2's
basic functionality.  Would anyone have any objections if I port
Mannasim into 2.23 so that ns-2's validation script still passes and has
the mannasim stuff in it?  I will probably have lots of questions along
the way, but I feel it would be worth the effort.  I have been
programming C++ for 1 1/2 years since I graduated and I'm back for my
Master's in Telecomm Engineering.  I'm taking a class in Wireless Sensor
Networks, so I need a good simulator for it.
