No API change. API addition of wallclock-simulator.h as outlined in the
previous discussion. The implementation of the existing simulator API
has changed quite a bit though so, while all tests pass and while I did
spend quite a bit of time running a lot of manual tests, potential
fallout is possible.

I don't know what version of the code 3.2.1 will be based on but I am
fairly certain that this code will be in 3.3
