Hi all,

I've pushed a major revision of the stat framework draft. It is
available at [1]. However, interested parties should start by looking
through the wiki page at [2], which now has a reasonably serious
writeup.

The basic ideas are the same as the previous version, but a number of
comments have been addressed. More importantly, it now includes:

- Several simple calculator objects, in particular for tracking
counts, mins, maxes, and averages as well as wrappers for easy
operation with packet traces and times.
- Plaintext omnetpp compatible output.
- Database output in sqlite3.
- A full walkthrough of a simple investigation, from the simulation
program & use of the stat framework to producing graphs.

Any comments or suggestions on either the draft code or the example
and writeup would be greatly appreciated.

Vincent, apologies for not getting back to your mail a few days ago.
This revision will break your confidence code, but it should be a
simple cosmetic change to re-incorporate it. I'm curious to hear your
thoughts on the basic setup/architecture. If you want to post your
code that would be helpful; there is a good service at
http://freehg.org/ or email Tom about creating a repository on
code.nsnam.org.

Thx!
