News:

ns-3.1-RC3 is expected to be posted on Friday, June 27, 2008.
ns-3.1 is expected to be released on Monday, June 30, 2008.

Bugs:

As of June 24, 2008, we have three P1 bugs filed against ns-3.1-RC2:

----------

Bug 231 -- IP Address Confusion in Echo Applications

No change.

----------

Bug 237 -- Send Callback not Invoked

Mathieu has posted a patch to fix this. Raj, what do you think about this
patch? Do you have any comments? Is there a consensus that this should be
done? Any opposing views?

----------

Bug 238 -- Missing Break Statement

>From the tracker: "there is obviously a missing break statement in
TcpSocketImpl::Recv line 519 but I have never ever seen a testcase hitting
that block of code which would not exit the outer loop immediately so, there
is never any bad behavior."

If the code is obviously broken and the fix is adding a break, then, IMO, we
obviously need to fix it and have a test case to expose it. Raj, can you
take care of this?

Comments:

We should have David Evensky's tcp-2way.cc turned into a regression script
for RC3, but I don't consider this a blocker for the release.

Still waiting on this ...

Progress:

We have closed the following bugs in the past day:

None.

Regards,
