Hi all,
Wanted to relate some happy news for the NS-3 effort: Just got word
that the paper "OntoNet: Scalable Knowledge Based Networking" by
myself and Boon Thau Loo (UPenn) has been accepted to the 4th
International Workshop on Networking Meets Databases [1]. As
discussed at the NS-3 meeting in December, the centerpiece is a set of
simulations in NS-3 evaluating the content-based multicast scheme
developed in the paper. This is also being used as the basis for an
NSF proposal, a refined conference paper, and a planned line of work
in this area, all enabled by NS-3. I want to give a hearty thanks to
everyone who's contributed to the project as this paper and the
ongoing work has certainly been made much easier to do and much more
interesting by using NS-3.
We'll be making a copy of the paper publicly available once some
reviewer comments are addressed for the camera copy (due next week).
Thanks again everybody!
