Felix and all, thanks for contributing this new 802.11 stack.
This is the last contribution pending for the previously posted plans
for ns-2.33 release: http://nsnam.isi.edu/nsnam/index.php/Roadmap
We've already integrated David Wei's work, and the dynamic libraries and
802.11 infrastructure patches have been announced for several weeks now.
The 802.11Ext patch has been posted before (earlier version), and has
undergone some off-list review and debugging over at least the past half
year, and the contributors have agreed to support it. Therefore, I'd
like to suggest that we plan to take comments for the next two weeks on
this revised patch, and barring any problems, merge it after that time.
Meanwhile, I'll work on marshaling in the 802.11 infrastructure and
dynamic libraries patches since those seem ready and since they are not
drawing any further comments.
This would mean that we'd be ready for another ns-2 release around the
end of the month.
Any comments or concerns about these plans?
Tom
