[Ns-developers] dynamic libraries on cygwin

I downloaded baldo's 2008-02-14 ns-2.33-pending tarball below, and built it
on Mac OS X 10.5.2 Leopard (using the configure stuff outlined in
http://mailman.isi.edu/pipermail/ns-users/2008-February/062378.html )
It builds; validate is doing its thing.
(without setting those --x- include and library locations for configure, configure gets as far as
checking for XOpenDisplay in -lX11... no
can't find X library)
