Dear All,

I know you have all been waiting with bated breath for the beginning of the
"litany of the bugs" for ns-3.3.  I don't want to keep you waiting any
longer, so here we go ...

News:

I posted ns-3.3-RC2 tonight.  The major change is that this RC provides
fixes to the regression problems with Cygwin and OS/X that were present in
ns-3.3-RC1 and addresses a some of our supply of P1 bugs.

Comments:
=========

The release process is going remarkably smoothly so far.  My main concern is
the number of P1 bugs that remain active.  We now have a rather large supply
of bugs that need to be cleared out and verified fixed.  We also have
roughly one week to address this supply.  We don't seem to be on-track to
get to zero bugs by December 12 for a P1-bug-free ns-3.3-RC4 as planned.

The release of ns-3.3-RC3 is planned for Tuesday, December 9, 2008.
The release of ns-3.3-RC4 is planned for Friday, December 12, 2008.
The final release of ns-3.3 is planned for Wednesday, December 17, 2008.
