Hi All,
just wanted to let you know that i've pushed an update to the Linux
2.6.26 stack to the nsc repository that will make things work on
x86-64.
Summer of Code is wrapping up now, so it would be good if we could
have a talk about merging ns-3-nsc into ns-3-dev.
For reference, the current open items on the todo list are:
* fix 64 bit builds
FreeBSD and OpenBSD stacks don't work yet and i doubt they will
anytime soon. Hopefully not a show stopper, as this has nothing to do
with ns-3. Linux 2.6.18, 2.6.26 and the lwip stack work on x86-64.
* add to nightly regression (and debug those issues)
I don't know exactly what i have to do here 8-)
The known problem is that traces on x86 and x86_64 are slightly
different.
* have a code review to plan to merge
The planned move from scons to waf as the nsc build system has been
scrapped for the time being. This is hopefully not a big deal. I'll
look into removing the dependency on scons (by including
a 'local' scons version in nsc) on Monday.
One final item is documentation, which I'm going to handle this week.
Please let me know if I missed something.
Regards, Florian
