[Ns-developers] ns-2 release plans

This is an update on some ns-2 roadmap items, and a question for the
list below. I had previously suggested that Dec. 15 might be a good
date for trying to freeze the code for the next ns-2 release. This
would allow some testing before releasing the code in early January
timeframe.

the above two are already added.

Nicola posted a patch for review last week, and it seems to me to be a
reasonable goal to merge this piece for the upcoming release.
Regarding 802.11:

I would like to hear from others whether they believe that we should try
to merge any of the above 802.11 items for this release or hold for the
next release, and if the latter, what they would like to see occur (more
time to review, more documentation or examples, more list feedback,
etc.) before checking in the code.
